A take-away from Gandhi is my food of the gods because it makes me feel so happy. If I was stranded on an island I would defiantly order a meal from Gandhi because it tastes so good and it fills me straight up.
What I would order:
Drink- J2O and Fanta.
Starter- Poppadoms with the onion salad.
Main- Chicken korma pilau.
Pudding- profiteroles with dark chocolate sauce.
My favourite question to be asked is, “What do you want for dinner?” and my answer always is Gandhi.

My food of the gods (my favourite food) is BBQ sticky ribs with chips. When my mum asks, “What do you want for tea?” If I could always have what I want my answer would be, “Sticky ribs with chips please!”
I love seeing the ribs covered in the BBQ sauce. The smell of the ribs, when they are cooking and when they are on the table, is so rich of BBQ. The chips smell like they have been in a fryer. Throughout the whole meal I can taste the BBQ flavour (which is really tasty). The chips are really crispy and delicious.
After I’ve eaten the ribs and chips my favourite pudding is chocolate cake and whipped cream. I love the taste of the sweet whipped cream with the amazing chocolate cream.

My “Food of the Gods” would be toad in the hole. For those who don’t know, it is not literally a toad in a hole it is actually a giant Yorkshire pudding with sausages within it. And one of the best parts is: the giant Yorkshire pudding is usually homemade! I devour this meal with mashed potato and peas as sides, topped all off with gravy.
If I get asked the simple question which is: “So, what do you want for tea?” The answer will commonly be: “Toad in the hole, please!” One of the many reasons why my food of the gods is toad in the hole is that the sausages are plainly in the giant Yorkshire pudding; mixing two things that I really like together.

When it’s time for tea I am always really hungry. I always want a three course meal but my mum obviously says, “No!” So if I could have a three course meal here it would be.
My favourite starter would be cheesy flat bread with mozzarella sticks. The flat bread would be oozing with hot, melted cheese. It would be thick and deep pan with soft dough. I would dip it in spicy cheese sauce. The mozzarella sticks would be crispy on the outside and gooey with hot, sticky mozzarella on the inside. I would dip these in tomato ketchup. The textures would be crispy but moist with the dips. I would hear the crunch of the mozzarella sticks and the pop of air bubbles in the flat bread as I bite into them. They would fill me with happiness as I eat them.
My main course would a Chinese Takeaway from the Golden Windmill in Burgh. I would have sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style; special fried rice, beef and mushrooms in black bean sauce; prawn crackers; sweet and sour ribs; beef chow mein; prawn toast; picante sauce and sweet and sour chicken balls. I can never have enough- ever! The sauces are all sweet but have a sour tang: the picante sauce the only spicy thing on my plate. The textures are crispy or soft or wet or crunchy. I would dip my prawn crackers in the sauces from the other foods. My plate looks very orange from the sweet and sour sauce. It smells sweet and spicy with Chinese spices infusing the rest of the smells of the meal. It would be delicious – as always!
My favourite desert is waffles with melted Nutella, lemon juice, sugar, gooey chocolate cookie bites, millionaire shortcake bites with churros and caramel sauce. The waffles are soft and spongy, but crispy on the edges. It would be covered in hot, melting Nutella; sharp lemon juice; sugar crystals to make the lemon not too sharp; soft, gooey, chocolate cookie bites to make the waffle a little more chocolatey and millionaire shortcake bites which would give the waffle a little bit more of a crunch. It would be sweet but would have a sharp tang because of the lemon juice. I would be delicious. I would also have soft and crunchy, doughy churros with caramel sauce to top it off. It would be wonderful.
This meal would fill me up. I would love to have this actual meal!

If I was on a desert island when I got home and my mum asked me, “What would you like to begin with?” For my starter I would like some onion rings! They are so yummy! If you didn’t know what they are they’re basically cooked onion slices in a shape of a ring with yummy batter on them. You should try them!
Also my main meal would be either fajitas or a lovely Chinese take-away. I am one of those people that can’t make a decision. Fajitas are white or brown wraps filled with spicy chicken, Mexican sauce, cheese and peppers. A lot in one wrap! And then a Chinese take-away I always get chicken chow mein, pilau rice and lots more!
For dessert I would not pick one - I like any like: cake, chocolate, ice-cream and lots more! I am not a fussy eater at all!

My favourite meal would be a roast dinner, because I love Yorkshire puddings. When my mum asks me what I would like for my dinner I say; “Can we have a roast dinner?” she sometimes says no because it isn’t healthy but we normally have it on Sundays.
Smell: I can always smell the hot gravy, also the roasted chicken beside my mash potatoes.
Taste: I can taste the hot mash-potatoes, and the crunchy Yorkshire puddings in gravy.
Look: It looks like a Sunday dinner but better with dribbling gravy falling of your roasted chicken.
Feel: I feel the smooth mash potatoes The vegetables are soft with the gravy on top.

My favourite part of the day is when dinner comes and I normally want a three course meal but obviously my mum or dad says, “NO!” So if I could have a three course meal this is what it would be.
Starter: Nachos with melted cheese and sour cream sauce.
The nachos would be soft so you could easily bite in to them, the cheese would have melted in to the nachos and the sour cream dip would be creamy with an interesting taste but it wouldn’t gross me out. I would be able to hear the sizzling of the cheese melting.
Main: Cheese burger, curly fries and baked beans with grated cheese sprinkled over it all.
The melted cheese would be oozing out of the burger and the burger itself would be very greasy. The curly fries would be crispy but not burnt and I would dip them in salad cream. The burger would make my hands hot when I touched it but it would not burn them. The grated cheese would have melted all over the beans and curly fries. Whilst looking at it my mouth would water and when I bite in to the burger it would melt in my mouth.
Dessert: Iced chocolate sponge with melted chocolate on top and vanilla ice-cream
The glistening chocolate would melt down the cake. The cake would be soft and spongy. The smell of chocolate would fill the room and I would make me lick my lips. The ice cream would be hard but not so hard that you could not put a spoon in it, it would also be cold but it wouldn’t give me brain freeze.

For pudding I would pick the best pastry ever invented… Cinnamon Rolls! I love cinnamon because of the strong smell and sweetness. My favourite part is licking the icing from the top of the bun because I like the feeling of the icing melting on my tongue. Cinnamon Rolls are best when they are nice and warm fresh from Lidl. I could eat one every single day and never get bored of it. I praise whoever first created them.

Starter
I would have a Quorn and cucumber sandwich served with cheese and onion Pombears. When I take a bite I can feel the soft bread which mixes well with the fresh cold cucumber which mixes with the Quorn. It tastes so good I could die. Most people have no clue what Quorn is but if you didn’t know it makes vegetarian versions of meat foods.
Main
My food of the gods would be a soft crispy veggie burger in a soft fresh from the bakery bun. I would like to have a great big handful of curly fries with my veggie burger and for a finishing touch a pot of ketchup. If someone handed that to me it would be gone in like a millisecond. When you take a bite it reminds me of America and how it would be there.
Pudding
For my pudding I would have the schools marble sponge topped off with chocolate custard. When I take a spoonful of that it really does make my day. And it mixes really well with the warm chocolate custard.
If somebody handed me that 3 course meal I would not even have time to answer.

Being stranded on an island is difficult. Eating worms and sometimes, just sometimes I treat myself with a nice, wet dirt cake, but that’s only when it’s raining.
My lucky day has come, the one where I get rescued by archaeologists trying to find fossils on this island. They rang the lifeboat too come pick me up since there was no space on their boat.
The lifeboat came and then they asked me the question from my dreams, "What do you want to eat? You can have a three course meal all on us.”
Which then I replied shockingly, "Well I would like 10 Big Macs, 150 chicken nuggets, and 1000 Mc Flurries!”
… silence
“Ok that is a very big order,” the first Lifeboat man replied. We were on the shore I was pretty SHORE-pun intended- that they were not happy for asking me for anything to eat. Everybody stayed silent since we were on the boat.
They ordered the food and I got straight into eating. The first big macs texture was a soft-brown and it also felt soft just like its colour it smelt beautifully I have not smelt anything like it before.
Then came along the chicken nuggets, once again brown but it wasn’t a soft-brown, instead a not so soft-brown the taste, they were so crispy I couldn’t describe the feeling but the smell was beautiful once again it smelt like the most beautiful food ever.
Last but not least the McFlurries after all that hot food something cold it tasted amazing I cannot describe the taste.
