The Accident by Kaycee

Crème egg, crème egg siting in the fridge
Do you want to be thrown off a bridge?
I know you’re so ever silky-smooth,
But I need to test this will you approve.
I walked to the bridge with the egg in hand,
Melting it was - I hope it understands
That I’m doing this for a project to get me marks.
What was that, did it just bark?
Is it trying to tell me something that I don’t know?
My hands are sweaty I have to let go,
Doing that was a big mistake
I didn’t know you were going to break,
The crème inside came out like a bullet
I couldn’t push nor pull it
To put it in a drain near my feet
This five minutes felt like a week,
I walked home trying to ignore what I had done.
I went back the next day and it was boiling from the sun.
I found that the egg wasn’t there,
But the Easter bunny had left one new one with a pear.
I wanted to know where the broken egg had gone,
The bunny said, “It’s with John!”
“Can you show me where John is?”
Of course I can, you curious kid.
The rest I’m not allowed explain,
Because of course I’m using my brain,
Let’s just say I went to the factory,
Where everything goes when it gets a bit messy.
The Easter factory if you really want to know.
Excuse me now I have to go.

Food of the gods by Kaycee

My favourite part of the day is when dinner comes and I normally want a three course meal but obviously my mum or dad says, “NO!” So if I could have a three course meal this is what it would be.

Starter: Nachos with melted cheese and sour cream sauce.
The nachos would be soft so you could easily bite in to them, the cheese would have melted in to the nachos and the sour cream dip would be creamy with an interesting taste but it wouldn’t gross me out. I would be able to hear the sizzling of the cheese melting.

Main: Cheese burger, curly fries and baked beans with grated cheese sprinkled over it all.
The melted cheese would be oozing out of the burger and the burger itself would be very greasy. The curly fries would be crispy but not burnt and I would dip them in salad cream. The burger would make my hands hot when I touched it but it would not burn them. The grated cheese would have melted all over the beans and curly fries. Whilst looking at it my mouth would water and when I bite in to the burger it would melt in my mouth.

Dessert: Iced chocolate sponge with melted chocolate on top and vanilla ice-cream
The glistening chocolate would melt down the cake. The cake would be soft and spongy. The smell of chocolate would fill the room and I would make me lick my lips. The ice cream would be hard but not so hard that you could not put a spoon in it, it would also be cold but it wouldn’t give me brain freeze.

SKELLIG (opening) by Kaycee

There he was, sick of being tortured. All of his life he dealt with being bullied and abused and now he just wanted to die.
He stood at the edge of the ancient ruins…
Max was just about to leave school he put his trainers on, so his shoes didn’t get dirty and he put his bag on. Max was walking home peacefully until he saw James. James was Max’s bully. Max tried to ignore James by walking in another direction, it didn’t work. James ran up to Max and started to hit him and scratch him, James also took Max’s bag and everything that was in it.
Max was frightened and shocked the only place he thought he would be safe if the ‘ancient ruins’. Max loved to go there because it was one of his mum's favourite places, until she died.
Max stood at the edge of the ruins looking over the azure coloured water. He stared to question his life choices to live or die. He chose to DIE! He put his arms up as if he was going to dive in to the water; the thing is… he cannot swim. Max didn’t care that he couldn’t swim he just wanted his life to be over.
Max again was getting his arms ready to dive, he stepped back in fear. Did he really want to die? Max stepped forward again looking over water. He closed his eyes….. HE JUMPED!

Trouble at home by Kaycee

I couldn’t believe it! There were loads of…well you are just going to have find out yourself. The day started pretty normally apart from the fact that it was snowing. My sister, Maddie, was really happy but mum said we couldn’t go outside because it was too dangerous; we lived on a mountain so there was a chance of avalanches.
Instead of going outside we watched a film called “Meerkats Madness” It was so boring until the meerkats started coming out of the television. It was really cool, they started playing games like Monopoly and Cludo and in like ten seconds they took over the living room.
In within a blink of an eye they were in the kitchen drinking all the orange juice, eating all the chocolate and they was about to eat the grand pancake. “Don’t you dare?” Mum shouted. The meerkats blinked and continued to wreck the house.
After about a full hour of craziness the meerkats left waving at us while walking out of the front door my family and I just waved back awkwardly. My mum turned looked at the television and it was turned off. Instead of watching the film we just played with the games and the toys that the meerkats left out.
