Creme Egg by Finley

Five hours ago, a strange-looking meteor hit the planet mars. 1 hour later, it started moving again, but this time it was travelling light-years faster! After 10 minutes of waiting for it to hit the Earth scientists announced that it had just entered the Earth’s atmosphere.

When it was finally in sight, the scientists got in their cars and started driving as quickly as possible to the landing zone. As it got closer to the ground, everybody started running to the nearest truck or bunker.

As soon as it hit the ground, everyone got scared because of the large impact and the loud bang. After the smoke had cleared, the police told everyone to stay in their spots. When the police and ambulance crew were sure that no-one was killed; the scientists walked over to it, and cut it open.

To me it looked like a Cadburys creme egg, some people thought that it was a strange looking gift from the gods. The people that agreed with that told me that it was an eggcelent idea.

When the builders got there, some cream (that looked like yolk) started spewing out of it.

One of the builders ran to the control pad for the gate and the walls and made them rise up. After waiting for five minutes for it to clear up, it carried on flowing towards the walls until it hit them…

When it hit the wall, it started burning down until it could just flow past the wall to the city…

Food of the gods by Finley

My first food of the gods would probably be chicken satay. I love chicken satay because it smells lovely and it also leaves a nice after-taste. Every time I have a takeaway from a half Thai and a half Chinese restaurant, I will say, “Mum please could I have chicken satay.”

My second food of the gods would be sunken pizza from a kebab shop! I love it because the texture looks amazing! The flavour of it is really nice; the base of the pizza is very soft and is easy to eat.

My final food of the gods would be Victoria sponge- because the flour type stuff tastes so good- the cream, jam and cake also tastes really nice.

Skellig story by Finley

A boy named Michael had been having a terrible day. There had been men watching him at school, when he noticed them, he started running but they were chasing after him because he did something that made them despise him.

Michael had been running in and out of very dark forests. When he stopped to catch a breath, he turned around to see them a few metres away; he sprinted to another forest and started meandering through the old, rotten trees until he came to a halt.

Michael had found a huge crater in the ground with mass of water at the bottom. He walked over to a strange abandoned tower and just looked down. When he turned around to see where they were, he saw them aiming a gun at him, at that moment he heard a gunshot.

One of the men fell to the ground but it made the boy so scared that he jumped off.
Mid-fall he felt his back deforming. 
When he was about to hit the water, he stopped falling and floated back up to ground level.
He looked at his back and noticed that there where wings on his back. When he was flying home he started going very quickly and then he realised that he had super speed as well.
When he got home, he landed and his wings disappeared. When he ran inside he told his parents and they were amazed.

Describing the Lost Thing by Finley

It was a beautiful sunny day in Australia when I was collecting my bottle tops, I found the rarest bottle top ever (it was from the Stone Age) I put it in my bag and carried on walking. As I was walking onto the beach, I saw a huge red thing so I ran swiftly to it. Before I got there I found a bell, I picked it up and rang it. I walked to the big red thing and observed it for a good five seconds. Suddenly, a leg pulled itself in and made a loud bang. I got very frightened and opened a door, I then shouted, “Hello!” I quickly took my head out and closed the hatch…
Suddenly, lots of tentacles came out then the thing started rumbling and stood up, I was so terrified. The thing threw a ball out to me, indicating to play catch with me so I did.
The thing was actually very nice and I hope he stays for a lot longer.
