Creme Egg Poem by Ava

I don’t know how they resist,
The sweet taste of this
Yummy, scrumptious and smooth;
Silky-smooth.
It is hard enough on Easter Day,
While they hide the eggs you look away.
You’re hunting left and right,
Hoping that you might,
Sneak an egg in your basket,
Treat it like a diamond casket.
You’re icky and gooey,
But not at all chewy,
I hope you understand,
That I don’t demand I command.
I know it confusing,
Sometimes very amusing,
That I would love to make chocolate eggs when I’m older,
Only I would but they would end around my mouth and up on my shoulder.
I love the way they look and even the feel,
Your wrapper looks like it is made out of steel.
You’re beautifully wrapped,

The Easter Bunny probably napped.

Food of the gods by Ava

Starter
I would have a Quorn and cucumber sandwich served with cheese and onion Pombears. When I take a bite I can feel the soft bread which mixes well with the fresh cold cucumber which mixes with the Quorn. It tastes so good I could die. Most people have no clue what Quorn is but if you didn’t know it makes vegetarian versions of meat foods.

Main
My food of the gods would be a soft crispy veggie burger in a soft fresh from the bakery bun. I would like to have a great big handful of curly fries with my veggie burger and for a finishing touch a pot of ketchup. If someone handed that to me it would be gone in like a millisecond. When you take a bite it reminds me of America and how it would be there.
Pudding
For my pudding I would have the schools marble sponge topped off with chocolate custard. When I take a spoonful of that it really does make my day. And it mixes really well with the warm chocolate custard.

If somebody handed me that 3 course meal I would not even have time to answer.

Describing the Lost Thing by Ava

It looked like it stood out to me, yet everybody was acting like they couldn’t see it. I   stopped and picked up an old and rusty bell that was attached by a tattered, red rope. After I had seen the old bell I knew I must know more so what I did was…
Well I am not going to tell you just yet but I will describe it for you. I saw a bright red coloured teacup kind of shape with lots of different draws and doors. As I walked around this strange, large, red object I noticed a door that looked big enough for me to fit through but I will tell you more about that later.
Now let me tell you more about this object. it was dug out of the ground and started growing tentacles, octopus like. Then I heard a strange sound it sounded a bit like a factory being knocked down.  It had thrown a ball at me, then looked at me like it wanted me to throw it back at him.

I threw it back, hoping it wouldn’t do something bad like shoot a rocket at me or something.
