The commentator by Millie

Good afternoon and welcome back,
It’s me your commentator, Simon Cowell.
Today Nicki Minaj is going to be on her scooter,
Going around Tescos against Cardi B.

3, 2, 1 GO!
They’re off!
They go in different directions,
Cardi B in lane 13 and Nicki in lane 15

Oh but it looks like Cardi B is struggling to see,
Her hair is in the way of her face.
As this is happening
Nicki passes 3 grandmas,
But she stops.
OH NO!
Crazy Christmas shoppers are in the way
Because of this Cardi B takes the lead.

Nicki comes up with an idea to avoid the shoppers,
She ducks down?
She’s going in-between their legs.
OH! SOMEONE FALLS!
She keeps going through it though.
What’s this?
An evil grin on her face?
What is she doing?

Cardi B gets stopped.
Why it’s a… Starbucks coffee shop!
Nicki must of paid people to build that in.

Nicki is going at full speed now.
She’s looking at Cardi B,
She’s crashes into a display of chocolate!
She’s buried, invisible.
It seems to be disappearing!
She’s eating the chocolate!
What a smart, clever woman.

Oh but no she isn’t,
This slows Nicki down as he is now fat.

This seems to be affecting Cardi B,
She wants chocolate too.
But she can’t.
She can’t become any fatter after drinking all those Starbucks.

They’re both the same length away from finishing.
Who’s going to make it?
Cardi B is unlucky, her dress gets stuck in the wheels.
Nicki’s weight slows her down.
She tumbles,
OH MY GOODNESS! SHE FALLS!

Well I guess that’s it.
Back to the studio with Louie.

William and Zach’s adventure by Millie

“Didn’t you enjoy the picnic Will?”
“Well yeah, didn’t you?”
“Yeah.” There were a few seconds of still silence, not a word. Then Zach thought of something. “Want to hear an idea?”
“Wot is it?” William stood there impatient. “Let’s hear it then.”
“I could show you around the village?”
“How? My legs would fall off.”
“We could go get Mrs Fletcher’s boys’ bikes?”
“Alright.” William stood there with a nervous smile. The problem was he couldn’t ride a bike and was too scared to own up that he couldn’t.

They started to walk back to the village, and they soon got back. The rough stones were crunching beneath their feet. They saw Mr Tom’s house and started to walk over. “Let’s go to Mr Tom’s.”
“Why? Aren’t we going to get the bikes?”
“Yeah we’re getting the bikes, but I need to ask him if I’m allowed.”
“Be quick please?”
“I’ll try.” William started to run to Mr Tom’s and skidding around corners. He got to Mr Tom’s house and opened the door. “Mr Tom?” No reply. William started to look around the house trying to find him, and Sammy was nowhere to be seen either. “Mr Tom?” He went and looked in the back yard and found him working on the trench with Sammy by his side. “Mr Tom.” He turned around to face William and Sammy’s head poked up. “Wot you want?”
“Is it ok if me and Zach go get some bikes and look around the village?”
“As long as yer back here before it’s dark.”
“I promise.”
“Ok, and whose bikes are yer using?”
“Mrs Fletcher’s boys’.”
“Ok, but no need askin’ me, go ask er.” After hearing that William sped off to get back to Zach.

“You took your time,” said Zach with a smile.
“Yeah, sorry. I couldn’t find Mr Tom at first.”
“Well can you go on the bikes?”
“Yep.”
“Let’s go then.” William had a nervous feeling in his stomach. It wasn’t a happy nervous, but a scared nervous. It felt painful and it hurt, William put on an act for Zach though that he was ok. While William was feeling this, there was a tense silence.

At one-point Zach saw William nervous, and felt nervous for him. He didn’t know if he was sick, hurt, had a head ache, he just felt nervous for him. “Will, are you ok?”
William looked up at him. “Um, yeah, never been better.”
“Are you sure?”
There was no reply from him. William gave out a sigh. He looked at him, and started to cry. “Will? Are you ok?”
Zach stood there surprised. William sat on the floor. Zach knelt on the floor beside him. “Tell me, what’s wrong?”
“I-I didn’t wa-want you-you to know-ow.”
“Know what?”
“I-I can’t ride-ride a bike.” There was silence and only William’s crying could be heard. William wiped his eyes. He looked at Zach, and he was still surprised and in shock. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“I thought it would make you sad because we couldn’t go on a bike ride. I also thought you knew…” Zach helped William up and held his shoulders. “You could of just told me.”
“I know it sounds stupid, but I was scared to.” They started to walk over to Mrs Fletcher’s house and they started to move a bit faster.

Eventually they got to Mrs Fletcher’s house and they went a knocked on the door. “Want me to ask if we can use the bikes?” Asked Zach. William gave a nod and wiped his eyes. “Hello boys, what do you want?” She said with a smile and in a cheerful voice. “Please can we borrow the bike?”
“Of course you can, just one rule.” William and Zach looked at each other. “You must bring them back before it’s dark. If you don’t you can’t use them again.”
“We’ll remember that, won’t we Will.” A polite, quite nod came from him. “Ok, just remember the rue though.” They both nodded and smiled. “They’re just around there.” And she pointed around the corner. “Thank you.” Said William. Mrs Fletcher smiled and waved goodbye. “You’re welcome.”

William and Zach got around the corner and started to choose a bike. Soon enough they both got a bike, fit for their size. “Now I just need to teach you how to ride a bike.” They walked the bikes over to an open space, and started to practice. “Remember to keep your balance!” After an hour or two of William trying to ride a bike, he finally got the hang of it and could ride a bike. “Can you turn, or steer?”  William looked confused. “No?”
“Oh. All you’ve got to do it turn the handles in the direction you want to go. Say you want to go left you turn the handles left, and if you want to go right, you turn the handles right.”
“Sounds easy.”
“It isn’t. Trust me, but you can practice.”
After ten minutes, William could turn the bike.
“I can do it Zach!”
“Yes, yes, well done.” Zach said with a chuckle. “Let’s look around then, Will”
“Yep.”

After they were done looking around, they found a bench and they sat down, leaving the bikes beside them on the floor. “I’m so tired.” William said with a yawn.
“Me too.” And Zach looked at William. “Let’s take the bikes back?”
“Sure. Would you be able to walk me back after? I’ll end up falling asleep in the middle of the path.”
“Of course I will.” They returned the bikes and Mrs Fletcher said thank you and how they returned them on time.

“Will, stop.”
“What? I’m too tired, let’s just go back.”
“No, look.”
“A man, cool. Let’s go.”
“He just looks different though.”

Food of the Gods by Millie

I don’t have starters ( I can then have more dessert), but for my main meal I would have homemade chicken nuggets. With their crunchy crisp outsides, the taste of them is like heaven. The touch when I cut into it’s soft but I have to get through the hard outside guarding the inside. It’s like the dragon guarding the castle. The look of it is mouth-watering and you can see the golden layer of bread crumbs. You can see the chicken sliding through the crumbs of heaven. I love it so much because my mum doesn’t make it that often so when I ask, “What’s for tea?” And she says, “Homemade chicken nuggets.” It makes me say “Yessssssss!” It tastes so good.

If I could have any dessert it would definitely be an Ice-cream sundae with cookies. The taste is just too good for words. It would be crunchy on the outside with gooey chocolate (that is really chocolatey) on the inside for the cookies, and the ice-cream would be cold with the taste of milky cream. The touch of the cookies would be lumpy from the chocolate chips and the ice-cream would be freezing, soft and smooth. The vanilla ice-cream would look as white as the snow next to the chocolate ice-cream that’s as dark as the night. The strawberry would stand out like a rose. The cookie would look like a moon with the chocolate chips as craters. The smell would be creamy from the ice-cream and the cookie would smell like a bakery.

Michael’s Midnight Mission by Millie

Chapter  1
As fast as lightning I sat up, gasping for air. I felt like I was sweating like a pig. I sat wondering, why I was awake, what happened? I finally figured it out after some time. I had a nightmare. I remembered it was my sister in the nest Mina saw.  I was so confused yet…scared. I could hear my little baby sister’s soft breathing and my mum and dad’s heavy breath. At first I thought my mum and dad breathing was something else, and I got scared. I felt a bit shook. I then remembered my mission and I thought I would be a scared doing it after being scared bybreathign.  I remembered about Skelig, the man in the shed. I got so nervous about him sitting there waiting, getting impatient. I didn’t know what to do so I needed a plan. After about 15 minutes I can up with a plan thought of.  I crept out of my room peeked round the corner and snook out. As quite as a mouse I leant over to reach the door.
Chapter 2
Finally I lifted my hand to the handle and twisted it. I opened the door hoping it wouldn’t creak. Luckily, to my relief, it didn’t. Slowly, like a snail, I crept in. I started looking around for the aspirin.  I sated to panic but after some time I found it. I crept round the door to see if anyone was there. No one was luckily. Swiftly, trying to be quite, I snook down the stairs. I had the key this morning, but couldn’t remember where I put it. I started to tear the kitchen to pieces in a rush. After what felt like hours, I found the key. I tried opening the door but it was the wrong key. Later on I found it, and it was 1:00am. Nervously, I opened the door and felt the cool ‘Midnight’ breeze.
Chapter 3
I crept outside and snook around the house. Before I could get round the house, I couldn’t fit round the gap. I started worrying, but then I sucked my stomach in, and went the gap. I carefully opened the lip to the bin and got the left overs of 27 and 53. I tried not to get my hands sticky from the cold, red and gooey char sui.  I snook back round into the garden, and stopped. Is there really a man in the shed? Am I going crazy? Am I dreaming? Am I sleep walking? I soon stopped asking myself and kept walking. I got to the door. Should I go in?
Chapter 4
I just stood there in silence. I didn’t know if I should go in. I was scared yet confused. I was a few steps away from the door, opened it and he was there.

The Angel looks by Grace N & Millie

The Angel looks.
The colourful leaves looked like an Angel,
Staring out its window.
Like everyone are the citizens,
And it is the hero.
It brings luck to everyone,
Its graceful
Like a swan.
The crescent moon,
Making sure it does no bad,
It did not,
So it was glad.
